This is a beautiful necklace converted from an early 1800’s gilded antique engraved pocket watch movement. Taking the movement down to its basic components, uncovers a stunning crescent moon shape, and looks great as a necklace. The pendant is simply attached to a gold plated jump ring, with an 18 inch silver plated chain.
The hand engraving in this piece is fantastic, and really highlights the time and care that originally went into this pocket watch. It even has a small rose cut diamond in the centre of the balance wheel, and the original spring. Even though the original use for the movement is over, doesn’t mean it cannot be enjoyed in another use to be appreciated forever. Meaning less waste and embracing more repurposed fashion!
Pendant measures approximately: 4 cm x 4 cm
